The DMV Wedding & Events Show

Did you know bridal shows are probably the best tools you can use as a busy bride to plan your wedding?

These shows are exciting, festive and full of great ideas. The DMV Events and Wedding Show is an excellent place to find planners, photographers, bakers, florists, limos, entertainment, calligraphers, and more. With so many wedding planners and other wedding professionals together under one roof, you will have the opportunity to meet and talk with them in a very short amount of time. Check out samples of their work, pick up brochures, and taste some of their foods and cakes. It’s also an opportunity to see if your styles match, and whether your personalities “click”, and of course get an idea of what costs are involved

Plan to bring major decision makers with you so they can see first-hand what and who is available. The more decisions you can make at the show, the more items you can check off your planning list. If you are the major decision maker, bring someone you trust, for a different perspective. Plus, you might need some extra hands to help you carry the magazines, brochures and other goodies the exhibitors have for you.

Bring some important items with you. You might end up booking a few appointments, so bring your date planner book. You may even want to book services with some of the professionals, so have your checkbook or credit card handy just in case. It’s also a great idea to bring swatches of material and ribbon in the colors of your wedding, this can be very helpful when speaking with florists, bakers, balloonists, gown shops and other professionals.

The most important reason to attend a bridal show is to have fun! Take your mom, maid of honor or bridesmaids and make a day out of it. Attending The DMV Wedding and Events Show is a way to help you enjoy planning your wedding and to share this exciting time in your life with others. However, we don’t recommend bringing your fiancé. As much fun as it is for you, it might not be for him. Unless you bribe him with the free food samples

The DMV Wedding and Events Show is not just for brides, perhaps you have a coming social event, graduations, anniversary, 50th birthday etc.. This show is a great resource for all. Come join us!
